- We provide accommodations
for family groups only. RENTER MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE. Rentals to sororities,
fraternities, high school and other large groups are specifically
prohibited. We do not rent to people looking to throw big parties that
could disturb neighbors.
- PAYMENT: Your reservation
is not confirmed until ˝ of the total rental is received, with the
balance due by check-in. For rental payment we only accept Checks
& Money Orders made payable to Waterski Chalet Ltd - mailed to 7102 West Rim Drive, Austin, TX 78731-2025. Payment must be received within 7
days of telephone booking in order to guarantee the reservation.
- We supply all linens, towels
and soap, but not shampoo. Maid service or towels are available for an
extra charge and must be reserved prior to check-in.
- While the Chalet has
phones, only local service is available.
- SECURITY DEPOSIT: Our home
is large with many items in it.
We require a $500 security deposit from all renters in the form
of a personal or company check made out to Waterski Chalet. We will not cash the check but will
hold it for seven days after you check-out and we’ve had a
chance to take an inventory and assess any potential damage. If we find something missing or
damaged, we will call you before cashing the check. If there are no damages or other
fees (excessive cleaning fee, lost key fee, lost item return fee) -
then we will mail the check back to you.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: If you
cancel once you have a confirmed reservation, a $25.00 Cancellation Fee
will be charged. Cancellations must be made by phone “person to person”.
No voice messages or e-mails will be accepted for cancellations. If
cancelled less than 30 days before the rental - you will be charged ˝
of the total rental. If cancelled less than 14 days before the rental,
or you “no show” - you will be charged for the full rental price. If
we can re-rent the property for your dates - you will only be charged
the cancellation fee.
- Renter understands this
property is individually owned, and equipped according to the tastes
and preferences of the owner.
No guarantees can be made to the guest about expectations of
quality of furnishings. Renters agree to inform us of any unsafe or
hazardous condition or needed repairs in the house or grounds. We will
make every reasonable effort to have any malfunctioning equipment (air
conditioners, dishwashers, televisions, boat docks, water or sewer
failures, etc.) repaired as soon as possible during the rental, but no
refunds or discounts will be offered or expected.
- Check-In time is at 3:00
P.M.; Check-Out time is at 11:00 A.M. Renters are not expected to
clean but we do require renters to load and start the dishwasher,
strip sheets from all used beds and place in laundry area, and to bag
and take all trash out to street receptacles. Trash cans at private
homes must be taken out to the street for pick up. Please place any moved furniture and
/or furnishings back to their original place. If cleaning beyond the
“normal” range is required, cleaning charges of $25/hour
will be charged to your Security Deposit.
- All properties have a 2
night minimum/3 night minimum rental on Holidays. Rental rates are
subject to a 6% hotel occupancy sales tax.
- A $25.00 fee will be
charged for lost or unreturned keys, or trash cans not taken out to
the street for trash pickup. Lost items that have to be shipped back
will have a $25.00 town trip fee plus the shipping charges.
- Additional property
specific rules and conditions are included with the confirmation.
Guest must read and sign at check-in and agree to abide by them.
- Pets are prohibited unless
SPECIFICALLY allowed for the property rented. No inside SMOKING
(outside only) - please do not use the yard as an ash tray.
- The house is on a septic
system. The system cannot tolerate the disposal of non-natural waste.
